Admissions of older children
Prospective parents who have moved into the area or are interested in education at APSoL for their child, are invited to make direct contact with the school to arrange a visit and find out more about us. You can arrange a tour by contacting: Tel 0203 417 0905 or email: info@angloportugueseschool.org
As a Free School, parents/carers who are interested in applying for an in-year place for their child, need to contact the school directly. The school will then decide the outcome of the in-year applications. Parents interested in an in-year admission must contact the school office and request an in-year admission form. Parents/Carers do not need to complete the Local Authority in-year transfer form for an in-year admission at the Anglo Portuguese School of London.
The Local Authority will only manage Reception Admissions for September entry each year. Parents wanting a Reception place for their child at the Anglo Portuguese School of London, need to complete an e-admission form through their Local Authority of residence.

Considering APSOL for your child?
See what our in-year admissions parents (whose children joined after Reception) can tell you about their experience.
Apsol prides itself in being a ‘family-like’ school where all the staff and children know each other well. It is heartwarming to see that our families who have joined us in the recent past, acknowledge the hard work and high level of care from the staff and the impact they have seen on their children. See what our new families have said:
“We are very happy with the school, our child has really found her feet and has been having a great time at school. We appreciate the communication from the staff as to weekly updates on how she is doing and what she has been learning in the classroom, and we are extremely happy with all the activities she gets to participate when in school and all the support that has been offered which made the transition very easy and pleasant for us and our child.
She is enthusiastic to get into school everyday to learn and play.
We love the fact its a very family oriented school and there is always something going on for families to participate in. We look forward to seeing her growth within the school.” Ms Fonseca (in-year Reception)
“She definitely changed so much on terms of understanding and made so much progress in communication/reading and writing. She is happier too.” Ines Rodrigues (Rec & Y1 parent)
“I can see a lot of progression since they joined APSoL and they are fully settled.” Polyana Sant’Anna (Y1 parent)
“My daughter settled straight away and has made lots of friends” Melissa Richards (Y3 parent)
“My children’s confidence and education has flourished” Lauren Regan (Y1& Y2 Parent)
“Extremely well, they are thrilling” Tatiana Alchueyr (Y3 parent)

“Great transition. Very accommodating and friendly helped so much with my son when he was a little unsettled. It was one of the best things I did was moving him to Apsol, he is so happy and thriving academically. Thank you so much” Jade Dunton (Y2 parent)
“As I live quite far from APSOL, I had to contemplate carefully whether to move my child, however, after speaking to the headteacher, learning about the curriculum and the opportunities the children have including the calm manner the children are dealt with, I didn’t hesitate. Since joining APSOL, my son has progressed so well, he is more motivated, calm and shows a strong desire to learn. Above all, a massive thanks to everyone for your dedication and care with our children”. Anabela Mota (Y4 parent)
