Teaching Assistant Wanted – Inspire, Support, Make a Difference

Are you passionate about education and eager to help young children thrive? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning, both in and out of the classroom. You’ll play a key role in helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where every child can succeed.

Salary:  Scale 2-5

Line manager: Senior Leadership Team

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with pupils who need extra help or have special educational needs

  • Assist with classroom management and preparation of learning materials

  • Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and participation

  • Help create a safe and nurturing learning environment

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude

  • Previous experience in a school setting (essential)

  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to train
