We are absolutely thrilled to have the support of the Ambassador of Portugal to the United Kingdom, Manuel Lobo Antunes, as we move towards opening in September. His Excellency will be talking about APSoL and the benefits of a bilingual education, which will be added to our website and social media channels on Thursday 16th July. This session will be in Portuguese and an English transcript will be made available.
APSoL will be England’s first primary school to provide a bilingual curriculum in English and in Portuguese and welcomes children of all language abilities, whether they have never been exposed to Portuguese language before or they have spoken Portuguese at home since infancy.
In addition to the Portuguese Embassy in London, APSoL has the backing of Camões Institute and the Portuguese Ministry of Education.
